What a fun afternoon reading books at daycare! Elmo sure looks a lot like Ms. Linda... :-)
Silly, silly boy working on his spoon skills.
He's learning to brush the animals. The animals, Gabriel, and the parents are ALL excited about this new chore! :-)
This was a super special night. Gabriel got to attend his first live concert! The local youth orchestras had their winter concert and it was such a great experience. He started out transfixed, absorbing everything around him.
Then he opened up a bit, danced along, and clapped after each piece with the rest of the audience.
And by the last piece he was just a ball of joy and excitement! Mama was beyond excited to see her boy so interested in music and so captivated by a live performance.
Daddy's homemade mac & cheese doubles as an excellent hair gel. :-P
It's usually too chilly for outdoor playtime now, so we cleaned up the slide and moved it inside. Still lots of fun!
Shopping for birthday presents can be really exhausting...
but leaving the store to find it snowing makes one of us (not mama) really happy!
Grandma & grandpa came to visit for Thanksgiving and brought this super, awesome, amazing, gadget board! Mama found the idea on Pinterest, started planning the board with grandpa in October, and then grandpa finished the board and brought it to us.
It even has a light and a buzzer!
Gabriel and grandpa are going to work together to figure out how every gadget works.
Reading with grandpa while waiting for the Thanksgiving table to be set.
Thanksgiving feast! It was so wonderful to celebrate all our many blessings just the 5 of us. A blessing to add to the list - we successfully hosted our first Thanksgiving and grandma & grandpa didn't have to host Thanksgiving for the first time in 20 years. The times are a'changing. :-)
Centerpiece art by Gabriel.
Two days after Thanksgiving Gabriel had his first pumpkin pie with grandpa. The first of MANY we're sure.
