Rebecca continues to be an awesome little booger.
15lb, 12oz (38th percentile), 2’ 1” (11th percentile), 16.54” head circumference (37th percentile). Super strong, healthy little lady!
Rolling ALL over the place. Definitely a solid mode of locomotion for her. We love how she’ll roll to her stomach to pivot 90 degrees, then roll front-back again to actually cover distance in the direction she wants to go.
She can’t pull herself up to sitting yet, but when we sit her somewhere she will sit up for 30+ minutes if she’s having fun.
Taking after her brother with a love of “Hoppy.” She loves bouncing all over and having new toys to suck on. And it’s just in time since we’ve had to retire the bouncy chair due to her attempts to escape it.
Dare we say it… we think the spit up is calming down! *Fingers crossed.* She definitely still gets us from time to time, but we don’t have to clean off Hoppy that often, there’s rarely a trail of spit up following her around the living room, and there have been multiple days we’ve gone through the whole day with the same burp cloth. It seems too good to be true.
Started solid foods a few days after turning 6 months with baby cereal. Some funny faces, but also swallowing so - success!
She eats 5 times a day and naps 3-4 times. She makes it 4+ hours between meals and one or two of those naps will be 1-2 hours long. Yay! She’s still sleeping consistently through the night (roughly 10:15pm-6am).
She loves her taggy-elephant blanket that daddy bought her this past month. He knew she needed more satin tags to chew on and he was right! She’s also still a pro with the paci. She takes it out, chews on it sideways, plays with it, and puts it back in.
In the past month she’s started hanging out with our nanny, Jaylin, 3 days a week. Rebecca lights up when Jaylin arrives and seems to love the time she spends with her.
She still loves watching the animals and reaching for their fur anytime it’s close (and the 85lb dog is still scared of the baby…). And her big brother ALWAYS gets a smile. She loves him to bits.
