Some random cuteness from September. :-) (Technically the first 5 are August...)
Gabriel loves to "work" at daddy's desk. Every chance he gets he's at the keyboard.
Our first visit to the local farmer's market. It was a beautiful day and we had a really great time.
Gabriel is clearly missing his buddy Aiden. The only toy he wants to play with is Thomas (from Aiden).
I set him in his crib with some books, came back a few minutes later, and he was out cold. Even after a month in daycare it still wipes him out from time to time.
Even big boys sometimes spend Saturday mornings sleeping on mama.
A live band! We walked down the street from our house and had lots of fun at this pep rally before the first Ball State football game. This was Gabriel's first time seeing a marching band up close & personal. It was a bit loud (mama didn't know they were going to be so close to us...) but Gabriel was in awe and loved clapping along. So much fun!
An idea stolen from Pinterest - Gabriel can color all over this box and the crayons stay contained (fingers crossed the house walls are safe!).
First chalk art on our driveway. :-)
We took Gabriel's ball pit outside, filled it part way with water, put him in a bathing suit, and had a blast! :-)
Sometimes an after-dinner walk is just too much to handle.
Saturday adventures to the children's resale shop. Everybody loves a little monster!
And the climbing adventures begin...
His first band-aid! Poor guy fell on his way up the front steps and got a little scrape. He's not sure what to make of this "sticker" on his knee.
Just chillin' on the puppy.
"What mom? I didn't tip over the table and then climb inside. I would never do that."
Getting so very big. Being very particular about what colors he uses this evening.
Smiling and ready to go to daycare!
Daddy's on a retreat with his coworkers so here come the "day-in-a-life" pictures we sent him. Such a sweet, sleepy boy in the mornings.
We had to schedule our first Muncie Dr. visit and shots while daddy was gone. Then we came home and snuggled for a while because the appointment was pretty rough.
All I can say is that we have the best animals ever. Gabriel was pushing his luck, messing with Poco, and she was happy to just hang out and be patient until he ran out of interest.
You know it's been a rough day (probably thanks to the vaccines...) when he falls asleep like this while watching the Blu-Ray title screen to 101 Dalmatians repeatedly.
Mama does bath time differently from dada, but it's still fun!
Yep, those are tired-boy eyes. Goodnight!
This was a first. Another sign that the vaccines just totally wiped him out. Asleep face-first on the shopping cart.
Blowing dada goodnight kisses.
Our best adventure while daddy was gone was finally walking to the playground near our house. It was awesome! This playground is designed for kids with special needs so the gentle ramps and wide steps are perfect for a nearly 15-month old.
I really wish I could remember what he was eating here. He sure loves it!
