It's a BW reunion! It was so great to see Jen and John. If only we'd gotten Jared and Erika in the picture too. So incredibly cool to have so many friends from undergrad also entering the higher ed realm.
We're not sure what made Gabriel fall so madly in love with the Winnie the Pooh Heffalump movie, but he sure does love Lumpy the Heffalump. And this video made my day while out of town. :-)
A few slides I found interesting from other people's research. If any of this intrigues you, let me know. :-)
I go out of town and I miss all new words!
So grateful to be able to share my research (on a cloth poster!). And especially happy to be standing next to one of my new University of Northern Colorado colleagues.
This was a cool night. I'm friends with a group of other women who are moms and also music ed professors. Many of us were at this conference so we all got together and went to the bar that's at the very top of the hotel. You get to see the whole city as the restaurant revolves.
My drink (really a milkshake) was super delicious but the conversation was the best part of the evening. I'm so blessed to be surrounded to amazing mentors and friends.
This should be our official group logo. ;-)
I tried not to rub it in too much... but I did have some awesome food in Atlanta that made Philip a bit jealous. ;-)
While I was making my way home, my boys were having a blast making cinnamon rolls for the first time. So cute and so fun for G to have these great memories with his dada.
