It's not often that dada is missing from bedtime. So here's a rare "goodnight dada" text picture. This kid is a pro at blowing kisses.
A typical Saturday morning: books on books on books by the couch.
The puppy has learned where to be during meals...
I'm sure it's a silly "mama thing," but having his hand rest on my leg, and my hand on his, while we read or watch TV together is one of my favorite things of all time.
He wasn't too sure about the Palm Sunday parade, but we gave it a try.
So grateful that at almost 21 months old, I still find him reading silently in his room.
He has outgrown his baby hooded towels so we're trying to switch to a full size towel. It's so big on him! And makes him look equally too small and too big at the same time.
Eek! Upgrading to a semi-big-boy bed! First we took off one side of the crib - and Gabriel had to inspect. There's no way this angel is ready to be out of a crib, right??
Then we did add a safety rail so he doesn't roll out of bed. He became a pro at crawling around the rail in no time.
Sound asleep in his semi-big-boy bed... and mama cries a little...
And the next morning he didn't climb out of bed until I came in the room to get him. Fingers crossed he continues to NOT get into trouble.
Even at 21 months old, he's not above the quick car nap (during a literal 8-minute car ride). And he's so cute, who can blame him?
